The Malaysian Consultative Council Of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism (MCCBCHST) is of the view that Article 11 of the Federal Constitution sufficiently provides for and safeguards the right of each person to profess and practice one's religion of choice. Further, Article 11 (3) expressly provides that every religious group has the right to manage its own religious affairs.

The Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism (MCCBCHST) supports Bersih's right to assemble peacefully at Dataran Merdeka on 28/4/2012. lt is their Constitutional right to Assemble Peacefully which is guaranteed in our Federal Constitution by Article 10(1)(b) which provided "all citizens have the riqht to assemble peacefullv and without arms".

The Christian Federation of Malaysia welcomes the Honourable Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Najib bin Tun Razak’s tabling of the Security Offences (Special Measures) Bill 2012 for second reading in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday, 16 April 2012.

Christians throughout Malaysia congratulate Your Majesty, the Sultan of Kedah, Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’azam Shah, who was today installed as the 14th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of the Federation of Malaysia.

We give thanks to Almighty God for Your Majesty as the Supreme Head of the Federation.

We your loyal subjects pray to Almighty God for His blessings and favour upon your Royal Highness.

May Malaysia prosper and her people enjoy the blessings from Almighty God throughout Tuanku’s rule over the next five years so that we may have a harmonious, peaceful and just nation.
